Join Tracey on this new tour to Estonia. I've been chatting with Phil (Wildlife Dreams) for a long time now. Discussing his journey, the new hide set ups etc, being sent all the camera trap images showing what wildlife is around and the images that are now coming out of the hide and ive been waiting for the go ahead that we can go there, so here it is...

My group will be the FIRST Exclusive tour group to have access to all the hides (Valley Hide, Reflection Pool Hides and Waterfall Hide). All have been specially designed for the best photographic experiences and using photo logistics glass.

Main species being photographed at the moment are Goshawk, White-tailed Eagles and Buzzard but there is so much more including smaller birds like the Grey Headed Woodpeckers, Crested Tits, Green Finch & Jays to name a few. There is also a chance of Fox and maybe Racoon Dog amongst other species. Given the time of year, we will hopefully still have some snow around and may even see the first Bear of the season.

For the first trip, given the short notice, i am offering this at a reduced price.

The accommodation location is in the middle of the Otepää wilderness.

The hotel features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Otepää. Featuring a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a ski equipment rental service is also available. At the hotel, each room is fitted with a patio. Each room comes with a desk and a flat-screen TV, and certain rooms at Hotel Karupesa have a balcony. Guest rooms include a wardrobe. The accommodation offers a buffet or continental breakfast.

Vaccinations \ Health

Wild Aperture are not qualified or legally allowed to provide vaccination or medical advice. You should consult your travel nurse or doctors for specific medical advise and up to date advise on vaccinations required. We suggest doing this at least 2-3months prior to travel or sooner if this allows.

Fitness Level Required

This tour does not require a high level of fitness. The walking activities are not long or hard (local guides will drive you to each hide).

Camera Equipment

For this trip you ideally need a variety of lenses. Firstly the longest lens you have (300mm to 500mm). A 70-200mm or 100-400mm lens is great for flexibility. A wide angle lens would also be very useful in case of any close encounters in the hide and also for the northern lights if we get lucky

Gratuities

Gratuities for the guides are not included in the cost of your trip. We will advise on this in your information pack.

Travel Insurance

It’s strongly recommended to purchase your own travel insurance at the time of booking to cover any eventualities should you need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances as both the deposit and final balances are non-refundable. Guests travelling without their own travel insurance do so at their own risk.
